Hartman Creek offers a sand beach with swimming area. Kayak, canoe, paddleboard, and peddleboat rentals are available. Trails are also avalible for hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, XC skiing an equestrian.

The Marl Lake swimming dock, part of Hartman's Creek state park, offers a lesser known swimming area in beautiful Marl Lake. A Wisconsin State park pass is required to use this park.
